Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Spicify collects, uses, and protects your personal data.

Last updated: September 12, 2026

1. Information We Collect

We collect account identifiers, subscription and billing metadata, usage signals, authentication records, and support communications needed to provide and secure the service.

2. How We Use Information

We use data to operate your account, process subscriptions, provide content access, improve product quality, prevent abuse, and communicate important service updates. We send product news, recommendations, and offers only where you have opted in, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell personal information for money. We disclose limited information to service providers that operate Spicify, process payments and subscriptions, deliver content, measure performance, diagnose errors, deliver advertising, prevent fraud, and support the creator program. Some disclosures may be considered “sharing” or targeted advertising under applicable privacy laws; available choices are described on our Privacy Choices page.

4. Service Providers and SDKs

Depending on the feature and platform used, processors include Google Firebase for authentication, databases, analytics, crash reporting, and messaging; Sentry for error diagnostics; Stripe, Apple, and Google for subscriptions and payments; Bunny.net for content delivery; Google AdMob and configured Meta Audience Network and Unity Ads mediation partners for advertising; AppsFlyer for mobile attribution; and FirstPromoter for affiliate and creator referrals; and Resend for consent-based product emails. These providers process data under their own terms and privacy notices.

5. Security and Incidents

We apply technical and operational safeguards to protect your information, including authentication controls, access restrictions, encrypted service connections, credential management, and monitoring. No system is completely secure. Where required, we will notify affected people and authorities of qualifying personal-data incidents.

6. Retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain account and subscription records, meet legal and tax obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and protect security. Retention varies by data type and legal obligation. When information is no longer required, we delete or anonymize it.

7. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may request access, correction, deletion, portability, or restriction of personal information, withdraw consent, or object to certain processing. You can manage applicable analytics and advertising choices from the app and our Privacy Choices page. We may verify your identity before completing a request.

8. Account and Data Deletion

Initiate deletion inside the app from Settings → Account → Delete Account, or use our public Account Deletion page if you no longer have the app. Limited records may remain where retention is required or permitted by law, including transaction, fraud-prevention, security, and dispute records.

9. Adult Service and International Processing

Spicify is intended only for adults aged 18 and older and is not directed to children. Our providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we use contractual and legal safeguards for international transfers.

10. Contact and Complaints

For privacy inquiries, contact team@spicifyapp.com. You may also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
